I have information on the descendants of Edwin MATHEWS to the present.
Family tradition says that Philip MATHEWS was a descendent
of George MATHEWS who fought in the War of Revolution and
was later a governor of the state of Georgia.
However, I cannot make any dates correlate nor find family
information on Gov. George MATHEWS.
Philip MATHEWS and Jane TRUITT lived in Ohio and Indiana.
They are buried in Elkhart Co, IN.
