Jonathan WHEELER was b. 1823 in Maryland, the eldest child of Richard and Susannah WHEELER. Jonathan WHEELER m1. Eva HANNON, 1843, Belmont Co., OH. Her last name may have been HARMEAN. She was b. 1824 in Pensylvania. They resided in Belmont Co., OH. Jonathan WHEELER signed affidavits in the pension file of Cornelius STIDD in 1883 and 1893. He listed his residence as Pilcher, Belmont Co., OH both times. Eva (HANNON) WHEELER d. 1896. Jonathan WHEELER m2. Amy LINDER. She was b. 1823 in PA. Jonathan WHEELER d. 1900.

Jonathan and Eva (HANNON) WHEELER had 12 known children. Their third child, Mary Elizabeth WHEELER, b. 1848, m. Jonathan Owen STIDD in Belmont Co., OH in 1867. Jonathan and Mary Elizabeth (WHEELER) STIDD had 10 children. They resided in Belmont Co., OH. They are both buried in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, Belmont Co., OH.
